Default 1995 Brake Booster/MC on a 1994 Cherokee

Hey Everyone,
I came across a Brake Booster/MC/Proportioning Valve combo off a 1995 Cherokee on ebay recently so I decided to pull the trigger!

I have a 1994 Cherokee and from what I have heard this is supposed to be a direct swap BUT when I compared the two tonight I am not so sure now. The proportioning valve on my stock setup seems SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the one I bought from the 1995.

Can someone help me out with some pointer here? Is this really a direct bolt on or no? Do I just use my current proportioning valve with the new booster and MC and just ditch the 1995 proportioning valve? Do I keep the 1995 setup and just have to extend the lines to the proportioning valve?

Thanks!
John

Are you running rear discs?

Theres no point in swapping the prop valve, they are the same. Just swap in the booster/master.

I am not running rear disks yet so I will leave the proportioning valve which should make the job a bit easier. If I do that it looks like the only thing I will have to do is make new lines between the proportioning valve and the new MC.

The outputs for the proportioning valve are on different sides on the two master cylinders it appears.

Two Questions:
1) How hard is to to bend and flare new brake lines?

2) Is it possible to ONLY use the new brake booster and keep my current master cylinder and proportioning valve???

So it really looks like I can just swap the boosters and keep my current master cylinder and prop valve, can anyone verify that?
