Default 1994 XJ Sport terrible screaming noise

When I give it gas it screams really loud... Thinking it might be a bad bearing in one of my pulleys or the water pump. Any ideas???

take the belt off and start it for a second, if it still does it, it's a bearing, if not, it's one of your pulleys/accessories.

I had the same problem with mine- turned out to be the idler pulley (the one at the top by the water pump)

Yea that's what we were thinking. We just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem. So I guess I will get a new one of those and see if it works. Thanks!

Mine was the A/c compressor going bad. It died three-four days after.
