New to the group;
I have a 1994 Cherokee Sport, which has started to heve electrical problems. The dome light, door locks, radio, windows and some of the gauges will work then not work. Sometimes when driving the they will go on and off by themself. It has a new battery, cables and alt. Thanks for any help.

I had the same problem with my 75. It was a lose wire. Dash, radio, turn signals, etc. went out. Then, it came back on by itself. No fuse problem. But that was my Jeep.

 

When you start the engine, the ignition switch turns everything off so the starter has all the juice. When the engine starts and you stop cranking, the spring in the switch moves the key to the run position. Make sure the spring isn't weak. Try helping it a little without turning the engine off and see if that's the problem. Nothing will work if the key is forward just a little but. Crank the engine and wiggle the key and see if something like the radio comes on and off.
