Default 3157 LED's Not fitting properly...??

I tried to replace my tail lights/brake light with LED's. I know I should have purchased quality ones but I did have another poor experience with them. This time, they don't make proper contact when seated all the way. No joy. Has anyone had this issue? My standard bulb works just fine. Kinda discouraged by such a simple swap.
Has anyone swap them out to LED's and which ones did you purchase?

I swapped all my bulbs out except headlights for LED bulbs .. To be honest I just ordered mine all on eBay and they all work great!
