Hey...My xj just did something really weird and I was curious if anyone else has had this problem. I drove home from work parked my jeep in the driveway then went back out 5 mins later to pull it in the garage and it wouldn't start. Let it set in the driveway for 30 mins went out to check codes checked the codes and then it fired right up. No codes popped up! So my question would be what would cause this issue? Any ideas are greatly appreciated and keep the smarta** comments to yourself please.

 

Mine has an issue atm where sometimes she won't start after shutoff. My issue is the automatic shifter. It will be in park but like a neutral start safety switch thinks it's not in park, I just turn the key, wiggle the shifter in park a little and she starts right up. Not saying at all this is your issue but you asked for ideas and there is one lol.

 

Can also check an issue I had a while back with my old xj. It was caused by mudding and water but I went through a lot of checks with no start issues.
