1993 Tow package options
My Laredo has the OEM class 5 receiver hitch and light socket.
How can I tell if this has the HD radiator or trans (auto) cooler packages?
OK so maybe there is a list of option codes some wheres on the car like the general does for some of his models. aka RPO codes.......
BTW the wing windows are going in this weekend.

Check the front of the radiator for a seperate cooler which looks like a small radiator. The HD radiator holds 2-3 more quarts of coolant than the non HD radiator. I have this info second hand as I read it on some other forum but have never seen one of the factory HD radiators. Check the owners manual to see which one you have.

Yep There are three units in there.
A full width water, an A/C condenser, and a smaller heat exchanger that I'd guess for the trans.
Cool! So we can haul a small popup camper or johnboat without much worry. I'll probably add a trans temp gauge to keep me grounded when heading up to the higher elevations.
The PO was an older woman that bought this Jeep new, to haul groceries and get home when it snowed. I bought it from her son who kept it serviced and warm every weekend. 93K and always garaged.
She also musta parked by the braile method by hitting every parking lot curb in N.Calif. The front end rubbers and all joints are loose and creak/groan at every stop/go and turn!
