1993 Jeep Cherokee not starting
Purchased a 1993 Jeep Cherokee from a buddy for $500. Put in a front axle, transfer case, and transmission. Thing started up no problem. Drove it to a friend's house about 40 minutes away to install brake pads. Parked it for about 2 hours. Started it up to pull into his drive way. Installed the brake pads. Then it just would not start. Fuel is coming out of the fuel rail. Battery is charged. It is trying to turn over. I swapped the crankshaft position sensor out and that didn't help. I checked for a spark.. from ignition coil it was a constant blue spark. From wires a dull but constant orange spark. Put in a new distributor cap / rotor, Plugs / wires. Still will not start. Checked the spark this time and it is a weak one time flicker of a spark from ignition coil or wires with the new one's installed. Don't know where to go from here. Have had a few people look at it and everyone seem's to be at a loss of idea's.
Also, the dash does not work. Gauge's do not operate. I had someone say that might be related to my starting issue. Just throwing that out there.
Thanks!

Sounds more like it is turning over, but not starting. "Turning over" means... turning over. The starter motor engages and spins the engine. It goes around. Also known as "cranking".
Starting is another matter.
Which is it?
Cam Position Sensor is another possible reason for no-spark/no-start. It's in your distributor.
Also check your grounds, particularly the main one near the distributor. The battery main ground and several other important grounds go to that location.
