In my Haynes Repair Manual, it says the system has a vacuum actuated servo motor in engine compartment. That is connected to the throttle linkage by a cable. System consists of servo motor, clutch, brake switch, control switches a relay and associated vacuum hoses.

Thats a nice description, but I am a picture guy, is there any videos or pics on this system?

 

Are you having a problem with it? Check the line behind the battery. It rubs on it and puts a hole in the line.It will take out your cruise and heater vents.

 

I'd be looking vac. lines first.

Thats it right next to the battery. I am holding the vaccuum hose to it. If you replace those vacuum hose I used 1/4th plastic water pressure hose for connecting ice makers to a water line. it works great and is as good as stock.

 

is that the servo motor?
