I bought a new ignition switch for my son's 1993 Cherokee Sport. I took the old one off but can't seem to get the new one on. It is mounted on the steering column behind the dash. I was hoping someone might have some suggestion and pictures of how it goes back on. I couldn't see exactly how the metal rod was connected. Right now it's (metal rod) on top of the column with the tip sticking straight up.
