Pull the headlight switch out and check to see if it is melted. I've had problems with the same thing.

hey that you for the heads up, so far i removed the fuse block down so i could see the connectors better ect, found wires that had been repaired but had loose splices, wires were burnt , then found loose female connectors in fuse block that were not holding tight to the the breaker, so crimped them in and so far two days with no trouble, wait knock on wood !! but will be taking dash out when i have time for someone had it out and i feel also have loose grounds ect for have other interment operations with heater fan ect.
thank you

Hey no problem as long as I could help. I had to remove my full dash to trace a fried wire from the headlight switch. It can suck putting it back in. I'm new to jeeps but I already know the original headlight wiring harness sucks so I'm going to invest in a new one. I suggest you do the same, plus it makes your lights brighter.
