Model: Cherokee (XJ)
Engine: 4.0L
1992 cherokee 4.0 backfires looses power then recovers.
Just got the cherokee and in the morning after warm up it backfires then go ok, but will loose power a little then go, also idle at stop will raise up to 1600 then come back where it should be.

Day 2 update
Seems to have gotten better, more power. Jeep sat for a year with little to no gas. Noted small droplet of water in fuel rail release valve. Got a lean code so maybe water-dirty injector?
