I got a 91 wrangler engine for dirt cheap.
Now no one can give me a staight answer... What is it?
The valve cover doesn't look like my 96 or 2000, but the intake and exhuast look like my 96.
I think it was a Renix, but somewhere they threw a H.O head on it. Any ways to tell by looking at the block?

the block is the same between the RENIX and the H.O. motor (except the 96, different block and pistons), just the head, intake, and headers are different. the valve cover would be plastic to instead of metal (i believe) the extra horsepower came from the head, intake and re-designed exhaust. so if it has the H.O intake on it, you are probobly good.
