Any idea why my engine is making this noise? Is it just the way the engine is suppose to sound? Hoping its just spark plugs and wires that need to be replaced. If you see anything else wrong feel free to comment. thanks guys!

 

Sounds like the exhaust manifold has a crack, find a good one at a junkyard and have a welder reinforce where it cracks or get a new one with a flex pipe. You also may have another exhaust leak somewhere else like I did. My advice is take it to a good exhaust shop and have it inspected that way you know what all is bad. Just as an example I took mine to a good locally owned chain, paid $214 dollars for a new muffler, tailpipe and a bunch of hangers. They also told me the manifold was cracked but I'm not going to replace it because it's not loud and there's no cel or power issues. I just have the vent on and the sunroof cracked to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
