Whats up all i have a 1991 Cherokee limited with a non-operating sunroof. I also think that is where my leak is comming from. I can see two small cracks in the glass of either side of the sunroof. Dont know if its confirmed from there. Also the leak drips into my interior on my left and right side and travels down to the back. What do i do?! Im trying to make this Jeep look good ^_^

Replace the seals around the sunroof and do a water test to see if it's the glass...

Replace glass if it is leaking there.

You have the same jeep as me..mines maroon 4.0 hight output.. Thx for the suggestion..i will try that and see whats goin on.

My 92 xj had the problem and then I blew out the moon roof while wheeling it.. I said the hell with paying for more glass and just patterned a piece of plexy glass tinted it and reinstalled it. Once done I ran a bead of silicone around it to keep it from leaking when the body flex's.

Do the XJ's have internal drains for the sunroof? I know my old subaru had drain tubes that could get plugged up and allow water to pool/leak into the interior. Solution was to remove head liner and clean out and/or reconnect the tubes. Just a thought. That's why bought my XJ with out a sunroof. LOL

I'd be checkin under the carpet for rust! My windshield leaked from top passenger corner, I never knew it. It rained heavily and soaked my carpets over a couple days pulled out carpet and behold cancer. It was tiny hole but still there. Be safe pull carpet up a lil and check.
