ok so I am needing to replace my door cylinders. I have seen pricing anywhere from 40-60 dollars for a pair door cylinders with keys, plus shipping. The keys pictured with these are flimsy looking so I did not want to go that route. I am sooo glad I didn't.
I took a chance and ordered 1 qty of this amazon item. The vague description had me wondering but for 10 bucks + shipping it was worth a shot. Pictured below is what arrived, 2 cylinders with matching keys that are beefy looking, and have plastic heads with the chrysler logo on them. Total cost was 15 dollars and some change.

just wanted to share with the rest of you in case anyone else is holding off on this fix due to the cost. It will be nice to be able to lock it up at night.

these are the ones I was thinking are flimsy and overpriced, not the ones I posted above. just to clarify.

I am going to try and use these on my 1990. The only visual difference is that the older ones have a "lobe" shaped thing on the end, the newer ones have a smaller arm. I an going to try and rig the lobe onto these locks. If it works I'll post a how to.
