cleaned the cps and changed the alternator and now it does it i got a 1993 motor with 89,000 in a 2 wd sport will it work in my 1990 please help i am new to jeep and love mine but if i cant get it running good i will have to put a w whathevy motor in it i am not certifid but can fix if i new what it was my motor has 193,000 on it

 

I just changed my coolant temp sensor it would be hard to crank and stall sometimes and stay idled up.its on the thermostat housing unplug it see if it runs better

 

yeah it does it right when i crank it and put it in gear and it used to not idel but now it will and runs great till you stop and go ot take off it cut out bad and stalls and some time real hard to start does it sound like the fuel pump and or the tue up i plane on doing both but want to know please help and does any body know if a motor out of my 1993 will fit in my 1990 the 93 has been fliped on its roof and the engin has lees then 100,000 on it runs great

 

check all sensors tps throttle position sensor Idle Air control valve.Fuel filter as well.coolant temp if you didnt check it already

 

yeah i changed the fuel filter and it looked like it was full of rust going to drain the tank and take the injectors out and clean them

 

Did you check the E.G.R. valve? My son's Saturn did the same damn thing and it was a plugged E.G.R. valve. (completely different vehicles, same symptoms)

 

93 doesnt have EGR
Only renix engines did.

I would check the fuel pickup...

 

wher the f is the fuel pick up you meen the fuel pump
