Default 1990 xj ?

I have a 1990 xj with a 4.0 and an aw4 with a 231 and i have a few questions. First how many spline is my trans and t-case 21 or 23? second my jeep used to go into 4wd hi and 4wd lo now ever since i swapped in a tj axle shafts it will not go into 4wd hi and it pops out of low. ( could this be an adjustment issue or something worse) 3 the rear axle is an 8.25 was that an option in 1990? 4 after the tj axle swap my 4wd light does not work. (is this because it is a vacume operated switch to make the light illuminate if so how do i fix it)

First off was it just an axle shaft swap or an axle swap, you have to figure out what you did first to get any help.Plus most of us have jobs and a family and a few other things to keep us busy. So we cant just sit here to give you an answer.Name: gotsearch.gif
