I have a 1990 Jeep cherokee it has the 4.0 six in it with an automatic trans. Not to long ago i was cruising along the coast in florida and i hit the gas kind of hard and it did what it was suposed to, drop down a gear and speed up. but my engine had power surges i would call it. rpms would rise then imediatly drop. My jeep doesnt have a tach so i dont know how much the rpms would drop but i would guess probalbly droped around 50 to 100 rpms. and it would only happen when i hit the gas hard. any information would greatly apperciated
