1990 Jeep Cherokee Part-time light

1990 Jeep Cherokee Part-time light
Get the Jeep so we can flat-tow. Followed directions in the book but now can not get the Part-Time light to go off. Don't want to ruin this rig by driving it on the street with Part-time light on, also don't want to get on the road and ruin the transmission. Any ideas?
