Hey everyone! I just joined the forum and I'm new to the XJ. She's in mint condition with 107000 on the odometer. The only thing holding her back is the fading decals on the hood and side panels. Does anyone here no of a place that sells these decals at OEM or OEM+ quality? You can see them a little in the image below. They are thin grey and silver pinstripes and a grey color block that goes above the cladding near the bottom of the panels.
A decent auto painter or auto body supply shop should be able to find the decals, probably a standard color and width to select. Or pin stripe it with a brush. The pin stripe decals are nothing special, should be easy to get via a practitioner of auto paint.
So measure the width, figure the length and colors, and talk with the paint dudes at a local store or on the interweb, see link below as but one example...

Nice Jeep! I bought a 1990 XJ Laredo new at the end of 1989. The one I tested at the dealership looked just like yours but I ordered a black one with a red interior and Turbine wheels. Wish I still had it. All I have left is the dealership brochure on which I highlighted the things I wanted.
I don't remember any decals on it though; pinstripes yes but not decals. Maybe we didn't get that up here. I don't have any pics of it ... it was just a driver! lol
Hey guys sorry for the late response honestly didn't think anyone replied haha. I can post some more pics of her when I go back home. It's the cleanest XJ I've ever seen for sale and they're getting harder and harder to find so I got pretty lucky. Thanks for that info on the decals I'll give that a shot. While I have ya, can you guys direct me to a good 2in lift?
I have no direct source. The part numbers are 55000560 and 55000561. I think I saw one on ebay.
I broke my driver side power mirror and had a heck of a time finding one. Finally a 88 Laredo showed up at my local pick-n-pull. I managed to salvage a lot of parts, but no handles.
