My buddy went into a water hole with his 91 Wrangler at about 40, and it stopped like we threw out a boat anchor. We towed home, and pulled the plugs. Upon cranking it shot water out of the cylinders. We sprayed the cylinders out with WD40 and let it sit overnight, and dried the plugs out. It fired right up in the morning.

We drained about 10 quarts of pea soup and gravel out of the oil pan. Flushed the crankcase and did about 3 or 4 oil changes in a row till it came out clean. No bent rods...Still runs 5 years later.

Hopefully yours is that easy. Good luck!

Well i did hydro lock it, in 1 and 6 of the cylinders. Pumped it out sprayed it with WD, new spark plugs, new oil, and then i find out that my battery core also died on me so a new battery here in a few days

Alright, Update time. New battery, went to start it, and it's still not firing up. Just keeps cranking over, but it's seems like it wants to. Do any of you have any idea what may still be keeping it from starting?

Hey Update!!! It's running and starting!!!! I read on the forums that you can prime the cylinders by pushing the gas 5 times and she fired up rough and then leveled out!! now it's running pretty well but i know i should change the oil again, and I'm going to seafoam it
