got a 88 cherokee and a salvage has a 90 drive shaft, will it work?

 

If the diffs, trannys and t-cases are the same it should. I don't see why it wouldn't. HTH!! Laters!!

 

Just make sure that the splines for the output shaft and yoke splines are the same (mainly same t-case) when you get the driveshaft. Also check size of rear u-joint(different rear axle) Most are the same until new case designs in newer models (late 90's) Hope that helps... PS, there was a different dana axle used by chrysler but you may still have most of the A.M. parts on the 90

 

I didn't think about spline count, good catch Freak!!

 

Spline count was the same until 91 so you are still good to go.
