1990 4x4 cherokee drive shaft work on a 88?

Just make sure that the splines for the output shaft and yoke splines are the same (mainly same t-case) when you get the driveshaft. Also check size of rear u-joint(different rear axle) Most are the same until new case designs in newer models (late 90's) Hope that helps... PS, there was a different dana axle used by chrysler but you may still have most of the A.M. parts on the 90
