Default 1989 cruise servo

Does anyone know the resistance I should be measuring across the position rheostat in the servo? The writeup referenced in this forum (excellent) says to check for continuity. I get a reading of about 6000 ohms, but am not sure if this is considered "continuity" TIA, Gary

If it is a rheostat you are measuring, that reading at least shows it is not "open", so you do have "continuity". Whether the 6K ohms reading is correct, I don't know. No clue what the exact resistance should be.
