just like the title says. i tried adding hella lights in place of the rotted factory ones and nothing works. i hear the relay clicking but lights don't turn on.

 

I don't know how they wired up the Renix years, but HO's were marginal at best. Fog light power ran through the dash switch, no load relays and as a result the switch tends to fail. Probably simplest to grab a switch, relay and some wire and do it new.

 

really? yea i was thinking it might be best to make one. i want to keep the factory switch for the lights tho that possible with aftermarket lights?

 

Sure, as long as the switch still operates. Use it to control a relay and the relay to power the lights.

 

Yea now I just have to do it lol
