I got new winter tires installed on my jeep in September! They installed and I drove off. Slowly over the weeks my steering wheel started to be uneven, then upside down and now it’s all out of place. I can only turn my steering wheel about 2-3 inches to the left when my tires are straight. It’s to the point I stopped driving because it got annoying trying to drive in the city and looking like an idiot backing up 2-3 times to be able to adjust myself to the turn.
I believe it could be Drag link, Bad alignment, tie rod or maybe even steering gear box.
I have a few pics I took of drag link, tie rod and wheels. It’s also all covered in frost from the snow and cold that’s what that white spots are Right side of jeep from driver view Center of jeep Drag link adjustment sleeve Left side of jeep from driver view
Needless to say that thing is totally unsafe. What happens when you need to turn left to avoid a kid in the street.
Based on your post you need to take it to a shop. It has nothing to do with winter tires and pictures on the internet aren't going to help.
I already have an appointment on Tuesday 2/25 to get it looked at. I just kinda wanna know what could be the issue before hand. I’d hate to go in there and not have the funds to fix it right away. I just wanna know what my issue is or could be so I can estimate costs of labor and parts 😅
In some parallel universe what someone might do is put the front end up on stands, and while someone turns the steering wheel see what the steering linkage and the pitman arm are doing vs the wheels turning.

Or even simpler, set your phone with the video recorder going in front of your rig, turn it on and then turn the wheel from left to right and post it on youtube
