ran a new power wire to the ignition switch and that fixed it, thanks for the help

 

So now you have an unfused power wire to the ignition switch?

 

No, i ran one momentarly to see if that was indeed the problem then traced down the power wire in search of where the power loss was to repair it. it was not a link that was burnt out, the wire had been scrubbed until the insulation was gone and had corded badly, cut it out repaired it and now it is running fine.
