Default 1988 Cherokee Rear Drum Bra!kes Shaking and Shuddering-HELP

I have a 1988 Jeep Cherokee with a Dana 35 differential. I have replaced the brake shoes, the drums, the wheel cylindars, the spring kits and it continues to shudder and shake the vehicle violently when we apply the brakes. We know it is the rear brakes because we applied the emergency brake. The dealer had it for over a month and could not figure it out. Does anyone know what is causing this??? Would this be caused by the wrong drums or wrong shoes possibly?

Check your axle for up and down play, could have a bad bearing.
Good thing is the 88 has bolt in axles, no reason to pull the diff cover.
Another thing to check on is the axle bent.
would jack it up both wheels, and put it in low gear and start it and let it rotate looking for a wobble.

Caish, I will check the axle in the morning. Thanks for the input. The passenger side drum seems to get much hotter than the driver side so I adjusted down the shoes, still shudders.

New drums aren't necessarily round.

Very good point ^^^.... not all new parts, especially brakes are flawless from the manufacturer. Pretty common issue actually.

Especially if they are built by WunHungLo and his comrades.

ive replaced brake drums on my 88 xj with brandnew ones and the rust built up on the backing plate wsa rubbing on the new drum, so i used a file to file down some of the rust and it spins freely now though there was no shudder or shake just getting hot and grinding noise. you could also check if the shoes are in the right spot on each wheel there is one for front and one for back.. maybe they are switched around ? also there are 9 inch shoes and 10 inch shoes do you have the correct ones for that axle ?

something to double check perhaps.
