Default 180 degree seats

Did this on a camping trip. Took out the rear bench, folded the seat. Unbolted the front seats and swapped sides passenger/driver.

Probably to sleep better. Im 6'3 and can only sleep in the jeep with my knees bent, this would solve the problem and im guessing thats why the pillows are on the seats

They just don't fit unless you swap them.

What I meant was why move driver's seat to pass side. I understand turning them 180*, I just didn't know they fit better on the opposite sides when turned 180*.

Oh, it's difficult to explain. The brackets are off center so, when I flip them they don't sit right without switching sides.

That makes sense, the seat brackets have to deal with the trans hump, and the driver's side is def. not the same as the pass side.

Indeed it would. But this will protect you from bears much better. And in theory the weather, but a good, expensive tent will do the same. Either way, doing this for camping costs nothing for most since most of us have the rachet and socket already.

Off topic but thanks again for the hook-up on parts last night.
