16" wheels
So I'm looking for 16" wheels for my 90 XJ....
Here's the requirements....
Obviously 16" and 5 x 4.5
Please no "suggestions" or "I heard these fit" I've looked through the posts and found nothing definate.
Nothing NEW....
I'm looking for somthing with an offset to gain a wider stance preferably, but the stock loook will be ok too.
Most importantly somthing I can walk onto a junkyard amd snag up easy...so stamped steel is perfect for me.
( also, I may have a line on 16's from a liberty...anyone with experience on mounting those?)
as always...thanks all!

I can get my di@% skinners on some crown Vic rims...though I'm not too hopeful about the offset or bore size...but I'll try as soon as possible...it's purty darn cold out here...and we just got a good helpig of snow as well....
But I'm sure we're not the only cheap-a$$ bastards looking to throw 16" steelies on our xjs.....
Someone lurking in the shadows knows.......I'm sure of it... Lol

why would you want 16s? unless you already have tires, id go for 15s..
if anything, just get some cragars..v-force, soft 8 or d-windows. you can never go wrong with cragars

Ditto....and an endless line of 1/2 tread 16" take-off's...so 16's would be much more beneficial...
Again...junkyard stuff...nothing new...I'm a cheap a$$...

the liberty has a higher off-set but still might be usable. if anything, they will require a small spacer of 10mm or so. i can try later because i have a liberty and a cherokee so i will try the spare on sometime and get back to you

just a helpful tip. check out the back spacing and make sure it's enough. i have a set of 265/16 bfg's on mine. they're off a wranger and they scrub pretty bad in the front and you cant stuff them in the rear without hitting the body. by the way i am lifted 3" and have cut and rolled front and rear fenders.
