Most of the Posts I see are trying to install an older engine into the 2001Cherokee Sport. Has anyone tried to install an '02' Wrangler engine into a 2001 Cherokee Sport? There is a casting on the left lower side of the block used for the Wrangler Air Conditioner Compressor that appears to be out of the way on the lower radiator hose coming from the Cherokee water pump, but without stripping everything off the old engine (still in the car and running), I can't really tell if all the Cherokee Brackets, and mounts will fit. I am ready to pull it out, but would appreciate any input any of you could send my way before hand. This is a very good engine with only 26000, certified miles on it, so I would really like to use it. This is y first entry so if it's not in the correct place, I apologize.
