01 xj random misfire
I ended up buying a roll of heat tape yesterday(Advance auto $17) and wrapped all 6 injectors with a couple layers of it, I also wrapped the entire fuel rail while I was at it. I wrapped the crap out of the whole thing. I will update to see if my annoying idle miss goes away... I will put a pic in here too.

Well..... After wrapping the hell out of everything fuel related, I drove 15 miles to Naples from where I live and it was 92 degrees outside. I do not want to jinx myself, but it ran a lot better today. BUT I ran my AC too the whole time and sometimes when I run my AC it makes the Jeep run better too. So, I drove back from Naples with the AC off and it still ran a LOT better than it has. Still going to do a compression check, but the injector wrap may have helped a lot so it seems. I have to get a pic on here of what I did.
And if it idles better with the AC on then WTF is that???? One would think it would idle worse. Power wise and running at any speed I feel no miss or power loss at all....

Well, I also wrapped my injectors after my consistent "cylinder 6 misfire," I was getting, and I have to say(without jinxing it) after stomping on it 4 times I got no "check engine," light. I was only getting the misfire after I exceeded 4k RPM. Tonight after I wrapped the injectors and exceeded 4k RPM several times, I did not get it, so I'm optimistic now. Hopefully I don't eat my words in the coming weeks. I'll keep everyone posted.

I am planning on doing the same thing, maybe it will help a little but i know it won't fix my low compression in cylinder 1. I have to remove the head to fix that problem, But i am sure (knock on wood) that it will make it run a little better. Can't hurt anything.
