01 fenders on a 93?

Default 01 fenders on a 93?

can i put fenders off of say an 01 model xj on my 93 without modifying the fender?

dunno whats different, but the parts catalogs show different fenders for the facelift (97-01)

oh, the area in front of the front wheel on 97-01 does not run below the front bumper like the earlier versions, the gap is covered by the front bumper cover with integral front fender flare. I bet it still bolts up though.

yes, bolts right up. but the 97-01 fenders are rounded where as your 93 has squared edges. therefor the newer fenders won't match up nicely on your stock header panel.
with that said, you could swap your 93 header panel with the newer one and it will look factory. there is only a small splice needed on the wire harness for the marker lights under the headlight.
