'01 Cherokee o2 sensor/engine wiring diagram?
Does anyone here have a diagram of the '01 engine wiring harness where the o2 sensor wires run into the harness? I've got a P0161 code for bank 2, sensor 2 and I've got a new o2 to replace it, but I'd also like to check out all the wiring leading up to the harness to make sure that is all ok as well.

i know im necroing yet another thread, but this is exactly what I need! any chance you have a diagram like this for an 04 grand with the 4.0 CCKen? the harness on one of my downstream sensors melted for some reason and the last diagram you posted would really help me out to wire everything back up. hopefully you are still active on here!

See if the XJ Cherokee diagrams above pertain to the rest of your GC O2S wiring, and if so, use them to repair your damaged wiring.
Edit: I think most, if not all, Oxygen Sensor wiring (wiring from the O2S) is the same. The two White wires are for the O2S heater, they are not polarity sensitive. The Gray wire goes to the PCM as the ground wire. The Black wire goes to the PCM as the O2S signal wire.

O2 Sensor extension
I don't have Grand Cherokee diagrams. Sorry.

Has anyone ever wired in longer wires between the o2 sensor itself and the connector? I swapped my 2000 4.0 with a 1998 4.0 and had to use the 1998 head pipe which has no pre-cat o2's and my 2000 had 2. I'm going to weld in two bungs to install the pre-cat o2's
