Hey guys, yesterday out of nowhere my 2000 XJ wouldnt start. There's just a relay that clicks then the dash dies when you hit the ignition and the dash wont come back on for 30 seconds. Battery gets no load. Any ideas? The ignition has been questionable lately. The key has been pulling out. Yesterday before it died completely it was weak starting, The battery was replaced in july and is still good. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks guys!

 

well since the ignition switch has been questionable & pulling out,start with the ignition switch.

 

The thing that skeches me out is the dash goes dead for about 30 seconds after i try and crank it. Radio craps out, looses power(lost all my presets)

 

Turns out it was the batt termninals.
