What this place needs....
is a "Wall of Shame."
Serously. Anytime really bad info is passed off, the post can be copied and pasted to The Wall and a link to the thread it came from as well. Might cut down on some of the Drunk-posts or Twitter-heads.
What say the masses?

Nope, the mods should be the ones to handle it. Let the common folk report the post and let the mods decide if it's shamefull enough to warrant being posted in a place of dishonor.

There have been a few as of late. Yeah the welding the diff response is one of them. Bad info regarding troubleshooting porceedures, posts that have "I don't really know, but you should try this" or "You don't need new gears for a 3X" tires." Of ocurse the OP in some of these threads are just as bad. "My Jeep is broken, why and how do I fix it?"
If you want to bebnefit from the knowledge available here, help out by providing enough information about the symptoms.
If your going to answer a post about a problem someone is having, try not to pass on info that is totally worthless. If you don't know you stand a damn good chance of costing someone time and money.
Now before anyone starts bashing me.....Yes I admit to being a tard and posting stupid crap too, therefore I'm qualified to highlight stupidity. I've got plenty of OJT.

Uh oh, I might end up on that wall because I know I have incorrectly stated information a couple of times. And somehow it's usually Frank that calls me out on it. But hey, I come away with a greater knowledge.

I think this is actually a pretty good idea to put bad ideas in one spot. We do all have our moments where our first thought about a problem is incorrect, (been there, done that), ussualy due to overeagerness to help I feel, atleast in my case. Perhaps a wall of shame would cause members to stop and think and make sure they actually have the right advice to help the member asking the question. Some of the "just remove it, you don't need it" posts come to mind. Theres my chime, for what its worth.
