Vendor Directory
I think it would be awesome if vendors were required to add their info to the vendor directory. Right now there are what, 3 of them in there? I often find myself paging through tons of repeat posts by the highly active vendors to find a post from a few weeks ago etc. Would be nice if you could just search for them and find their threads like it is designed to do.

I was wondering about that... I don't see why a vendor would not want to. It won't let you?
In that case, that is what needs to be fixed- I would find it extremely helpful if it was completed. It would be nice to see if a vendor was close so you can go view their merchandise in person (not all fill it out on their profile). It would be sweet to just be able to sort it by just your trusted vendor to easily find something that was put on a week ago but is now buried. It would be nice so you could know exactly what online retailers etc. there are that support the forum before you buy from them and without paging through tons of pages.
I wonder why they closed it/quit updating it?

It definitly would be nice if all the vendors were on there. like a whole list of every vendor on here and that is where you can find their posts under thier thread. all the other sites im on are like that, wonder why this one is different?

I like the way the current "vendor directory" is setup but there is only 3 of them in there. I like being able to see their address/phone number etc. Compared to the one you posted- that being said that is just my opinion and what you posted (other sites) would certainly be better than what we have.

haha I hope that's not true. That being said I have not renewed my paid membership in along time and probably won't. The only thing it seems to do for me is give my name blue letters- Nothing has really changed since I started here except for the mobile app that there are a ton of complaints about. It can't be all that difficult to open it up to the vendors or add them to the list. Or even to make one like the pictures above.

Actually IB does care about the site. The vendor directory is a benefit to vendors who actually sponsor the site. The Vendor posting section is setup to allow just about anyone who sells something as a business to post up at no charge.
The problem is very few vendors want to pay to have more visibility. IB is also working a better vendor section option for posting things in a more organized fashion. There are many changes that have happened that may not be immediately noticeable to some. There are lots of things in the oven being worked on.
To say a company who wants to earn money from a site doesn't care is quite an ignorant statement.
Also if all you wanted was stickers you probably could have asked and have gotten. I haven't seen them turn anyone away who wanted a sticker.
Sometimes it's best to think before you type.
