Default Sticky Login

I was wondering if there was a way to keep the system from logging me out. There is a bug in the login redirect that makes it a PITA to login each time.. the forum seems to log me out at the most in opportune time.

Thanks,
dave

Same issue. Forum boots me out after a certain amount of time. Even if I have a forum page open in browser. There must be a setting somewhere to chose automatic sign off.

I wonder if it has something to do with the method if log in? I'm using my Google+ account.

I just hit the big red button at the top that says "log in with you Google+ account" but.. it doesnt make it sticky for me. every day i have to do it again.

I'll try just using the regular login tommorow.

Ok, so is it possible to change your login type? or user account type from Google+ passthrough login to local login?

Moderator/User Admin can you tell me if thats possible?

That would allow me to use the Sticky login setting on the login form.

Thanks .. and sorry to be a bother.

Bringing this thread back from the dead as I have searched for a way to do the same thing on top of getting a login error every time I come to the forum.

I too use my Google+ login (regret that decision now, have for sometime) and when I log in I get an error (see attached) and then have to click on a link anywhere on the page to get me back to the community landing page (or refresh) then I'm showed a "User CP" link. It's not a deal breaker, obviously I'm still here, but it would be nice to get it fixed...or have the option to port my Google+ login over to a standard account.

Still no traction on this?

Text version of the error -

Invalid Redirect URL (https://accounts.google.com/signin/o...neralOAuthFlow)

Sorry, I still have no internet service from the hurricane but hoping one of the other Staff can look into this. If not, I will have to sometime this weekend.

Outlaw I hope they get you guys taken care of sooner or later, we're in Clearwater. Thanks for popping in, glad to see it's getting some visibility.

Update I've found a way around this by just logging in with my name in the username box (the name associated with Google+).

I requested a password since Google+ login wasn't working, reset it, and noticed my username for login was my name (derp)

Logged in using that instead of clicking the "g+login" button and now everytime I visit I'm logged in automatically as it should be :-)
