New "How To" Section Is Embarrassing
While I have no problem with the new formatting, I do believe the glib, erroneous content has the potential to be an unmitigated disaster. Many Jeepers are looking for technically accurate input to "get it right" and the new section is sub-standard and disappointing.
I had to go look, With articles like "How to check the Air Pressure in your tires" I have to wonder who is the target audience? 10 year olds with absolutely no mechanical knowledge? If someone doesn't know how to check their own tires they probably should not even consider attempting any of the other suggested repairs. Seems there should be an understanding of a minimum base level of intelligence and mechanical knowledge being targeted in these?

Aw for cryin' out loud. Maybe I should have submitted that stupid application and just copied and pasted the stuff that was already in the technical write-up and how-to section. I didn't realize THIS is what that was for.
This just makes us all look stupid!

We're just fine without some watered down and crappy tech stuff.
Have you noticed that BEFORE that section, every day was a record day for the number of folks on this forum?
I'd rather see our Tech and write-ups better organized by category, but that's it.

Whether done intentionally or not this is how it always ends up. The one draws from the other. It is inevitable.
