Couldn't agree more. Maybe a All Homebrewed COTM too? No off the shelf parts allowed, or at least minimal.

 

I feel COTM catagories maybe? I dont feel I fit into the low budget category, but I sure as heck dont fit into the Fabtastic category either. I feel it would be cool if the banner represented everything great about this site. This is the only site I know of where the guys on a high school or college budget, the guys in between with a couple more bucks and the guys who build over the top hang out, mingle and get along making for a super cool XJ community. My personal opinion is that the banner should reflect that. Just my .02.

Can't imagine which other sites you have been on. Every other Cherokee (or Jeep) site I have been on has all types mixed in ... and get along pretty well for a bunch of anonymous strangers on the internet.

There should also be a stock COTM edition, no lifts or major changes to the stock look!

knock it off with the multiple COTM. thats like getting a ribbon for coming in 4th. Those who have killer Rigs get notority, those who don't, don't. i work my tail feather off moding my jeep and i know no one is gonna ever things its as awesome as DAVE V MAX. way of the world. but i still like the stockers/ low budget/ unskilled/ unlimted funds builds. just don't need a COTM for every one.

COTM isn't for big buck builds. I'm proof. I'm in my jeep like 2800 including the jeep. So..... It's not for deep pockets.

 

if some one has a bone stock 88 that looks like it did when it rolled out of the factory. then said person should have a shot at COTM aswell as the sik ones. just think how much money was put into it to keep it looking that way.
it shouldnt just be for those who have done tons of things to there rig. you have to give everyone a chance to win. if there was 5 stockers and 5 modded rigs entered. but one of the stocker's looks the best thats who i would vote for. as you see all the ones that are up there are modded pretty dam good. but this is just my OPINION!!!!!!!

original if they are ALL stock, it'd be like voting for the tallest midget (no pun intended). Don't get me wrong, I love a low budget build but I don't think there should be a separate section for stock XJ's. Sorry but I just don't agree.
