Default Major Computer Risk on This site

Just curious if anyone else noticed....whenever I come on to the forum (I'm fairly new but I've been coming on twice a day for a few months). My ESET security starts picking up mad malware, trojins, etc. Just curious if anyone else is getting flags or if the moderaters are aware?

Probably some pics here are linked from sketchy sites but this site itself should be fine.

It's possibly the redirection to and from viglink.com that Internet Brands is using on their forum sites. The site admins/mods have no control over this. It's on the server side.

What browser are you using? Get Firefox with the no script extension. It lets you disable all scripts and you can enable just the ones you want.

EDIT, just noticed your location. You're probably infected by my ex wife. She lives there too. If you see her, feel free to accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. I run a buttload of filtering in my firewall appliance plus NoScript and AdBlock in Firefox. Seems to be standard procedure for websites these days to load up on 9000 brands of crap.

Have you looked up what ESET is complaining about? Might be false positives or you might have a virus hiding.

set up your anti-virus a little stiffer, (for web browsing) at least to the factory recommendation
