Default Internet brands automotive

I don't know what it is, but with the forums I visit that are hosted on the internet brands automotive platform, there are issues. They are random as well.

Visiting the sites are slow at times. Often need to stop and refresh the address to load.

Clicking links on the forum threads will result in code being displayed. I will need to hit back and click the link again.

Clicking the user CP will result in a download to start, "usercp.php".

Clicking forum threads may result in a download starting.

Again, these issues are only on those that are hosted with internet brands automotive.

In this pic you can see the code. I hit F5 and page loads as normal and displays the topic. Do note lower left corner, aborted download for usercp.php.

No problems here, either on a couple of Windows computers and my Android tablet.
Maybe you could try a different browser.

I experience these issues on both laptop and desktop, as well as on terminal server.

I considered posting about this a while ago. It seems to happen only in Google Chrome, and yes, it's very annoying. I think the site overall is long due for an upgrade, however I did notice they recently updated the mobile version of the site and it is great! 50 times better than the old one and way better than any of the apps.

Sometimes it will hang in an infinite loafing state, or show a getWidgets code snip. The post will go through, but you won't know until you refresh or open a new session. Sometimes double posts can happen from this glitch.

Yes, scroll straight to bottom, or even click the advertise link.

Weird as hell; I only ever visit the site on Chrome. What version are you guys running?

I do notice that when the mail gets sent out (around 4am eastern time) I'll get VERY slow loads or DB errors. It's funny to me that they send out all of the subscription emails at one time.

Interesting. I use Chrome on 4 different machines and never once had an issue with any IB sites loading. Ever.

Weird. Yeah, I use the site on multiple operating systems and browsers and have never had an issue with it.
