It's hanging up on my PC through my phone tethered as a modem once in awhile too...

 

Anybody else getting a lot of popup ads? I click a section or a post and it pops me onto some other page and opens a new tab. I now the site owners want to make money, but I feel like i'm gonna end up with a virus.

 

nevermind. I let my dad use my computer and he installed some stuff. The problem was on my end.

 

Lol... Dude... Do not let Dad get a hold of it! I cannot imagine what would happen if my Dad got a hold of mine... lol

 

I hate the infinite scroll, if your in a long thread it takes for ever to get to the top so you can click on your user CP. Or is there a short cut I am missing?

 

If you scroll up the page slightly, you will get the top bar to show up that has your avatar in the top right. Clicking on that avatar brings up several options, including the User CP.

if you scroll up just a little. the top bar will drop down. scroll up kinda slow you will see it show up.

 

You can also turn off infinite scrolling,

My profile visitor log only shows the last two visitors and they have been the same two members since the day I joined CF. The total number of visitors has been updating. How do I fix this? Thanks!

 

Please note that the Recent Visitor list is not encompassing of all the people who may view your profile. Members with a private online status and logged out users will raise your total view count without appearing on the list by name. However, the list will change as public status, logged-in members visit the page. For example, my name is now on the list after looking at your profile a few moments ago.

If you're still only seeing two names on your end, please let us know.

I just went into my profile and under statistics clicked on all threads started by me.
Looking for one to link to another thread.
All of a sudden only the most recent 5 are showing up.
Any idea what happened to the rest of them?

Same for my posts.

 

Sorry about that, Ralph77. We're currently experiencing an intermittent issue with our search server where only recent results are appearing, but our team is investigating and we hope to have the full results back soon.

Sorry CF, us Staff are very limited on what we can do for these issues outside of changing usernames, thread names/titles and rearranging the Forum. The major tech issues are handled by the fine staff at IB and can only address them if we make them known. So thanks to IB and thanks to all who give input on this.
