iOS app on iPhone 4S with iOS 5

Occasionally uploading images will result in "Parse Error", with a reference to an invalid response from the server (I think, it's been a while). The uploaded image disappears from my attached files list (delete/insert inline buttons absent) but still appears as an attachment when the post is viewed.

Shortly after the app starts behaving like the above, it becomes completely unusable. Posts will fail to load with the same "Parse Error" message that appears when uploading images fails. On next load of the app it will fail to login. Rebooting does not help. Reinstalling the app is the only fix I've found. The device is not running out of space when this occurs. I have not noticed any pattern to this behaviour; so far my current installation of the app is several months old. The most frequently I had this problem was reinstalling the app two days apart.

Loading images frequently (70%) results in "Connection Reset". This often appears without any actual image showing up, but about 30% of the time appears for images that DO load.

The reply/post/whatever it's called window/screen has issues scrolling when large amounts of text are thrown at it. I sometimes run into this when multiquoting or when quoting a large post. After so many lines of text it becomes impossible to scroll up further. When the cursor is placed on the uppermost line the view does not scroll up. Selecting all text, cutting, and pasting rectifies this.

I have not had any available updates in a few months.

 

I would like to add, I wouldn't be able to view the first image in any threads, it would say "connection failed" but if I go ahead and view the second image, then scroll to the first one, I ll be able to view it. If that thread has only one image, then I'm SOL

2. Pictures don't all load all the time.

I'd like to point out in regards to the pictures falling to load: It seems unrelated to the image source. A picture may load in a post, but a grey box will usually appear in a quote of that post. The opposite happens equally often.

That's what my screen look like when it freezes. It say to pick thread prefix. Then freezes. I cannot go back or anything. I have to delete the app, then re download it.

When quoting, it doesn't show up after I submit my reply.

 

X2, iPhone 6, newest version of the app also. Can't write anything or post anything in the for sales

 

Android- pictures don't load most of the time- crashes mid-post occasionally- often have to reload entire app- Subscribed posts don't always register as viewed and sometimes will set off numerous alarms.

*New problem* Crashes about 1/2 of the times I try to upload a picture. Says it sends report.

 

I have a 5s and I can't post multiple pictures in a comment. The first picture loads fine but if I go to post a second the app goes black except for the gray bar at the top. Then I have to force close the app and reload it.

The main thing I have encountered is the pictures load very small or only load half of the time. The scrolling for the pictures is also very tedious, you have to pull up a picture and then exit out to the thread and click on the next one. There doesn't seem to be a way to scroll to the next picture from the current picture you are looking at. Also, the bottom of the screen gets cut off a little, so you only see half of the icons down there.

 

While on my subscribed threads tab, i tried to refresh the page to see if there were any notifications and i got this message:




I exited the app and went back in and then it was fine. Not quite sure why it did that, but it's fixed now lol
