I just saw this. I can't believe it. I just talked to him and got a package in the mail from him.

Live everyday to the fullest, don't hold back, follow your heart and live as if its your last for tomorrow may never come. RIP Brian, You will surely be miss by many.

Moderators I would like to resign my position on the header for June COTM and put Brian's last picture up to honor his memory. Can this be done?

There is no confirmation yet on the findings of the investigation but none of his friends can find it in their hearts to believe the rumor is true. I talked to him two nights before this tragedy and in asking how it was going he replied, "Its an amazing weekend!" and then in true Brian fashion, sent me a picture of the new tires he put on his baby.

The viewing is being held Tuesday and the ceremony Wednesday. I ask you all to continue to keep his friends and especially his family in your thoughts and prayers as we struggle to find a way to accept what has happened.
Brian affected so many people across the country, most of us he never knew in person. His ethics, humor, and persona are things that will never pass. Thank you so much for the information provided and keep us up to date.

Very sad news to hear and although not all of us are close on here, we are still tied together and affected cause it's one of our own.

R.I.P you will be missed

We will gladly do so for such a great guy. Our condolences and prayers go to his family and friends. There is even a memorial thread on here for even more thoughts and prayers on how much he helped and contributed to our lives as a not only a fellow jeeper but as a friend.

Wow, I am completely speechless. I didn't know Brian beyond this forum, but even with such a limited knowledge of him, I can say that he will be missed. He seemed like an amazing person, and he never thought twice about helping anyone on here, and I'm sure in person as well. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

As I didn't personally know Brian, I exchanged multiple PMs with him. He helped me diagnose a wiring problem and was very helpful. Even with our light convo through cherokeeforum PMs I could feel his strong positive, and friendly attitude. Always willing to help out, he once PM'd me out of the blue to personally answer a question I had posted in a thread.

Brian Perrine, you will be greatly missed.
