Very sorry for everyones loss. I am new to the forums and havent had any interaction with him that I know, but I know he must have been a great guy if everyone is speaking so highly of him! R.I.P
And for anyone who may be on the edge, please talk to some one, there is no shame in needing help

I was a close friend to brian, embarking on several trips with him. Including that NM trip and other trips, i even took one of those photos of him. I will be attending his funeral and will be making a wristband in his memory.

Brian has done a lot it looks like
Brian played a big role in my life as well. I have been in "the jeep" on lots of occasions, but it was usually with 12 bikes attached to the outside of it by custom bike racks Brian made himself. I myself am not usually offroad unless I am racing without a car. This shows just how much difference Brian made in lots of different peoples lives. I hope all of you go out this weekend and enjoy your offraod adventures, as I know Brian did.

I don't remember ever talking to him on the forum, and never met him irl, but I've seen his name plenty of times throughout my forum-surfing. It's a shame to only now be learning how awesome he actually was. Rest In Peace Brian.

RIP Brian. I did not know you personally or even here on the forum. I do see MANY people that do, and many people that are going to miss you.
May you rest in peace. I know you are up in heaven taking on the biggest baddest trails!
Prayers to all of his friends and family in their time of loss.

As a close friend of Brian's I felt compelled to create an account solely to comment on this thread. All of his friends and family are taking this extremely hard. All of the love and support on this thread is an honest comfort in this very difficult time. I've been reading ever comment on this page and it is more than obvious that his personality more than showed through in the ways he has touched and affected everyone on this forum.
There is no confirmation yet on the findings of the investigation but none of his friends can find it in their hearts to believe the rumor is true. I talked to him two nights before this tragedy and in asking how it was going he replied, "Its an amazing weekend!" and then in true Brian fashion, sent me a picture of the new tires he put on his baby.
The viewing is being held Tuesday and the ceremony Wednesday. I ask you all to continue to keep his friends and especially his family in your thoughts and prayers as we struggle to find a way to accept what has happened.
