Could be a stupid question because of course they aren't made to go very far offroad but I've got a 2wd cherokee that's lifted and i live about 45 minutes from the gulches and I heard they had some milder trails? Would it be worth the trip or would I be up the creek without a paddle?

If the part was bone dry you'd be able to make it around trail 2 but you could also do it in a Honda Civic.
Honestly, unless you just want to come watch people on obstacles then I think you'd be disappointed with only 2wd.
If the park is wet then I'm not sure you'd have much luck in the parking lot.
