My trip reports/random picture thread.
Well, those that know me from the other site know that I am a picture posting *****. A picture can say a thousand words and helps keep the best times of our lives freshly embedded in our memories. I enjoy sharing those memories with others. Here are some:
Here is what I wheeled before I got my Jeep. It is a stock 97 F150 & my friends Ford Splash. We will wheel anything up here.
Here is my Jeep. It is a 2002 TJ (4cyl). Mods include a flowmaster exhaust, Detroit locker (rear), 3" Rancho lift, 33/12.5 Timberland M/T, Safari snorkel & an 8000lb Warn winch. There is a few more that I am not thinking of I am sure and tons of little things that I have done to help make it water tight!
I wheel A LOT!! I am an outdoor junkie! I am not afraid of beating on my Jeep up and getting a new dent or scratch. It is the only way to wheel in my opinion. This concept has cost me a lot of money and time, but that is just how I role!!
Poof...Jeep vanish like ninja!

As we were trying to find a winch point for my Jeep we heard something splashing around in the water a little ways away from us. we got nervous thinking that it was a bear. Turns out it was some salmon that got land locked when the creek dried up. My buddie jumped in and caught them by hand. Good eating!!
Here are a couple more:
I will post more later!!!

Great pictures. Shoot though, that makes me cringe just to see ya'll without gloves on, much more with wet fish in bare hands. Dang!

Home sweet home...I lived up there for 12 years and call it home. Just becareful with the crossing of metal creek. Many of people have been caught by the high water.

My Jeep got stolen (long story) and ended up there. Kind of lucky. Because they tried to cross Metal Creek, they did not have a chance to strip it. Still working on fixing it. Here are some pics of where we found it and us recovering it. Makes me sad/mad every time I look at them.

This is where it sits now. It will run again, but I am a very busy person. The little free time I do get has been spent riding quads. It will be fixed soon though!
