So I hit Moab with the Rock Zombie crew this weekend. Sick Sick Sick. We started with Area BFE on Thursday and did Green Day (a 9 on traildamage). I came closer than I have ever come to rolling my XJ. I was following the line Chad took with his YJ (spooled on 40's) with Rico spotting me. I got almost all the way up the obstacle and got hung up on my rear diff. Rico told me to back up so I did. when i did my back tires slid on some snow and my back passenger tire fell into a hole and my Jeep started to go over painfully slowly. All I could do is make a retarded face and death grip the steering wheel. Just when i thought I was going over Rico jumps up and grabs my driver front tire which is above his head at this point and stops me from going over!! I put it in drive and go forward and my front comes down. All I had to do was change my boxers and we were on our way. Sorry no video of that. The way down the trail I was coming down the hardest part of the trail coming down a huge drop off and I shot my back tires in the air. I was perpendicular to the ground. Seth was about a mile away on the upper part of the trail and he saw it and said later he thought I was going *** over tea kettle. I hit the throttle and saved it with only a nice rock scar on my driver side doors. I made it out with no mechanical damage!!! On Friday we hit Hell's Revenge (another 9). I took my Mom on her first off roading trip on this trail. This trail is amazing. I will let the video speak for me!! I will be coming back with the roof lights intact which was my goal!! I represented for the Hooligan clan with plenty of hazing for having "the wrong stickers on my Jeep" etc. I was the smallest out of everybody and did it all much to some of their surprise. Special thanks to Chris for getting my Jeep trail ready less than 12 hours before I left!!!!
