Default Fishing XJ

Well I finely got my XJ running right.
So this past weekend I took her fishing.
Sorry about the quality. (Camera phone)
First picture: She is sitting on a small sand dune. I need to install my lift so I can put her on a bigger sand dune....lol
Second picture: One of my fav fishing spots. The red spot on this picture is a Jeep liberty.
Weather has been nice down here in Corpus Christi, TX

Nice..

I used to spend summers in CC on Padre Island back in the 70's as a kid. Have some vivid memories of the "new 280Z" and a blonde named Cindy.

Talking Latest fishing trip

Took her out today to see how she would handle a Kayak on her roof.
She did great. We set out to do some fishing around 6:30am. As we got to our kayak drop spot I notice a CHEVY 2wd kicking up sandy mud and water. I drove closer to see what was going on and don’t you know it the poor boy was stuck. So I took this picture showing how close we were to each other cuz with no tow straps (forgot mine) we had to use 4 ratchet straps interlace together as a recovery strap. The straps kept breaking because the Chevy was really stuck. In the picture I took the strap is about 5 feet now it uses to be 15 feet. Anyway, she handled the problem very well for an 87 Cherokee and 180+miles on her.

The rest of the pictures are from my actual fishing trip. One shot off my kayak. One of her with the kayak on the roof and one of the FISH I caught.
Took that one cus someone asked for fish pictures....lol

Default Surf Fishing

A week ago my brother and I took my dad surf fishing for his birthday.
We took my XJ and my brother took his ZJ. We drove down the beach to an area named Little shell. I don't know why it's call that, I did not see any shells on the beach at all.
Anyway the surf was very nice, 2 foot waves and 5 mph winds. I have these few pictures to show you guys a little part of my world.
Pictures:
1. shot down the beach.
2. my xj
3. brother's zj
4. hooked something so big that it did that to my hooks as it came unhooked.
5. Got a few bluefish.
