First bit of 4wheeling with my XJ (LOTS OF PICS)
I went up to this little trail i had seen off while driving around one day, and figured i'd take my jeep down there and test it out. Heres a few shots i took...
Heading down the trail:
got to a wooden bridge that i didnt really trust:
so i decided to go around it :
looking down from the bridge, the creek is pretty much dried up
sooo....
whats that in the woods!?! Its a bear! Its a deer!....its MY XJ!!!
poser flex pics:
Ya know...i bet i can fit in there...
SURE CAN!
Just a short little side trip to test it out. Everything worked great and im very happy with how it performed with only 1.5" of lift.

haha, im close to nashville, but that was about a 20 min drive out in the country. I think its a service road for the railroad, and it also goes by some farms. There was some areas that were posted as no trespassing, so i didnt venture too far, just went up the trail to the tracks, drove around abit, and back out.
Oh yea, some SERIOUS flex in the front (i cant wait until i get more lift haha)

Yea, its great here. Im glad I ended up down here. Although, its tough to beat fall in Massachusetts, which is where im from. Favorite spot so far is up in the smoky mountains, its amazing up there.

must be nice...a bit too hot for me. I miss the winters, back when we actually used to get snow. This 1 centimeter of fluffy crap isnt worth anything...still everyone freaks out and runs to the grocery store to buy milk....which i really dont get, cuz if the power goes out its just going to go bad. Some people...i just dont know

My junk is too tall to have fit through that tunnel glad you did though. Real nice pics. After checking it would you try crossing that bridge next time?

i envy your junk...(wait that sounds bad...haha)
after walking across it like 5 times, i found a few weak boards...im not willing to take that chance with my new jeep...besides...its kinda fun driving down into the creek and up the other side. Who needs bridges? I have a Jeep!
As for my springs, eh, they are doing ok. Completely flat, but ok. Over the next 2 months I will be buying my RE lift components, so i will have new leaf packs in the rear. I just wanted to get out and test the xj a little bit...guess ill have to find a harder trail once the 31's are on there (after the d30 is gone)
